Dr. Kumudhini Rajasegaran, is a paediatrician & senior consultant in the Adolescent Medicine Service, at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital. Dr. Kumu is also a visiting consultant at the Eating Disorder Unit, at Singapore General Hospital and is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Duke National University Singapore Medical School, Adjunct Assistant Professor for Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine as well Physician Faculty for the Singhealth Paediatrics Residency Programme. She received her medical training at the University College Dublin, Ireland.

Dr Kumu has been responsible for taking the lead in the further development of adolescent health and was successful at developing Adolescent Medicine as a distinct sub-specialty and multidisciplinary service. Under the Adolescent Medicine Service, she has played a key role in the development and growth of specialised obesity and eating disorder programmes within KKH, being actively involved in projects aimed at facilitating better communication and collaboration between community resources, and different government sectors, for improved care of children and adolescents. She is currently a member of the Clinical Ethics Committee at KKH and also one of  the lead clinicians of the Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect Team and has partnered with key stake holders in the local child protection and advocacy landscape.
